Ron Sparrow is PoolStar’s longest serving technician. Ron started with PoolStar in 2012 as a second career. His daughter, having her first child while pursuing a doctorate degree at UNLV and serving as University Registrar, said, “Mom, I need you.” So, Ron and wife Barbara moved to Vegas. Prior to PoolStar, Ron was a Dental Laboratory Technician; running his own technician business for 30 years. He also served in the Oregon Air National Guard as a manager of a Dental Clinic for 20 years. Ron grew up in Oregon and raised his family there before moving to Las Vegas to be near grandchildren. Ron serves some of the 89052 zip-code in Henderson, as well as Anthem, and Inspirada.
Ron is known for his friendly demeanor and has gotten to know many of his customers personally. Given he has incurred a lot of expertise over the years, he is often found teaching customers about the inner workings of their swimming pool. Ron is reliable, diligent, and dedicated. He meticulously maintains his vehicle and equipment as well as the pools that he services. When Ron is not cleaning and maintaining pools he enjoys time with his wife of 47 years. Ron has three grown children (along with their spouses), and seven grandchildren, all living happy and healthy lives, that he is very proud of and close to. Outside of family-time, hobbies of his are: playing poker and craps, watching NFL, going to Knights games, learning about history, and enjoying an eclectic taste in music, and enjoying the large variety of artists that perform in Vegas.
