Nick Kornegay joined the PoolStar team in May 2025. Nick was born and raised here in Vegas before spending 7-8 years enjoying the outdoor life in the mountains of Colorado. He held various jobs in the ski and mountain biking industries as well as food service. He is also familiar with the golf industry and held jobs in that field. He enjoys the outdoors and sports. He first considered pool service observing his parent’s pool technician at work; and figured that the outdoor nature of the job, and the physicality would suit him. Nick interviewed well and was well-received by other technicians during his training period.
Outside of work Nick still likes to get out on a bike as well as hangout with family and friends. He is a talented golfer and enjoys being outside.
Nick will be servicing the Silverado Ranch, Seven Hills, and Green Valley neighborhoods taking over for technician Casey Gilpin who is moving to Arizona to care for a family member there. Nick is welcomed aboard and we look forward to his customer’s getting to know him
